Custom Probes

A server you own, running the ExitProbe agent, acting as an additional vantage point checks can run from — private to your account, alongside ExitProbe's own shared probe pool.

How it's different from a VPS

A custom probe runs checks FROM itself against other servers’ VPN tunnels — it’s a vantage point, not a monitored target. If you want to monitor a server’s own resource health (CPU, memory, disk) instead, see VPS Health Monitoring.

Read-only here. Registering, deleting, or rotating a probe’s agent token is done from the ExitProbe dashboard, not the API.
