This Privacy Policy explains what information ExitProbe collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the ExitProbe website, web console, API, and the ExitProbe mobile apps for iOS and Android (together, the "Service").
Who we are
ExitProbe is operated by TecClub Technology SMC Private Limited ("TecClub", "we", "us"), a company registered in Faisalabad, Pakistan. TecClub is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your name, email address, password (stored only as a one-way hash), and optionally your company name and phone number.
- Two-factor authentication — if you turn it on, the secret used by your authenticator app and your recovery codes.
- Servers you monitor — server names, expected exit IP addresses, project names, tags, and the VPN configurations, share links, usernames and passwords you add so our probes can connect to your servers.
- Support messages — anything you send us through the support desk or by email.
Information created when you use the Service
- Monitoring results — check outcomes, latency, packet loss, observed exit IP addresses, throughput measurements, incidents and uptime history for the servers you add.
- VPS agent telemetry — if you install the ExitProbe agent on a server, it reports system metrics such as CPU, memory, disk and network usage, load, uptime, operating system details and the names and resource usage of the busiest processes.
- Mobile device information — if you allow push notifications, a push token issued by Apple or Google, your device platform, time zone and your alert preferences.
- Technical and security logs — IP address, browser or app version and request logs, used to keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and enforce rate limits.
Billing information
When you buy a paid plan we keep a record of your plan, orders and payment status. Payments are processed by our payment provider. We never receive or store your card details or the private keys of your crypto wallet.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- provide the Service — run checks from our edge probes, detect outages and exit IP mismatches, and show your dashboards and reports;
- send the alerts you configure, by email, push notification, Telegram, Slack, Discord or webhook;
- create and secure your account, including two-factor authentication;
- process payments, renewals and invoices;
- answer support requests and send important service messages, such as security notices and billing reminders;
- monitor, debug and improve the reliability and performance of the Service;
- detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents, and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your VPN credentials
VPN configurations, share links and passwords you add are encrypted at rest. They are decrypted only on our probe infrastructure, at the moment a check connects to your server, and are used for nothing else. They are never shared with other customers or third parties. You can edit or delete them at any time by changing or removing the monitor.
How we share information
We share information only in these cases:
- Service providers that help us run ExitProbe, under contracts that limit their use of the data:
- hosting and infrastructure providers that run our servers and edge probes;
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (and Apple Push Notification service) to deliver push notifications to your devices;
- our payment provider to process payments;
- our email delivery provider to send alert and account emails;
- an IP geolocation service to look up the country and city of server and probe IP addresses.
- Integrations you set up. When you connect Telegram, Slack, Discord, a webhook or another email address, we send alert details to that destination on your instruction.
- Legal reasons. If required by law, regulation or a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, the public or TecClub.
- Business transfers. If TecClub is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
How long we keep information
- Monitoring history is kept for the retention period of your plan (from 7 days on the Free plan up to 1 year on higher plans) and then deleted or reduced to aggregated statistics.
- Deleted projects and monitors stay in the trash for a short period so you can restore them, and are then permanently removed.
- Account information is kept for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information, except where we must keep certain records (for example, billing records) to meet legal or accounting obligations.
- Backups may contain your information for a limited time after deletion before they are overwritten.
Security
We protect your information with industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), encryption of VPN credentials at rest, hashed passwords, optional two-factor authentication, access controls and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of a breach where required by law.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can:
- update your profile details in Settings;
- export your monitoring data from the web console;
- delete your account from Settings at any time;
- turn push notifications off in the mobile app's Settings or in your phone's system settings, and choose which alerts you receive;
- unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in those emails.
For any other request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
The website and web console use only essential cookies — for example, to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers.
International transfers
TecClub is based in Pakistan, and our infrastructure and service providers operate in several countries. Your information may therefore be processed outside your own country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Children
The Service is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will notify you by email or in the Service before they take effect.
